Data Tech Lead | Governance (GCP)

Mission Context

As part of a Data Governance initiative within the Food Safety Risk Assessment domain, we are looking for a Data Tech Lead – Governance (GCP) to support the definition and implementation of governance frameworks for unstructured data. The consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to establish governance principles, standards, and best practices for managing product-related unstructured data.

Missions

• Lead the definition and design of data governance frameworks for unstructured data
• Establish governance principles, policies, and standards for product-related unstructured datasets
• Collaborate with business, data, and technology stakeholders to align governance requirements and implementation approaches
• Support the creation of governance processes, controls, and operating models
• Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate discussions around data ownership, quality, compliance, and lifecycle management
• Provide guidance on best practices for managing and governing unstructured data assets
• Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s data governance strategy

Required Profile

• Strong experience in Data Governance
• Proven experience governing and managing unstructured data
• Ability to define governance frameworks, policies, and operating models
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
• Experience in client-facing, consulting, or advisory engagements
• Experience working with large-scale data governance programs
• Knowledge of modern data platforms and cloud environments (GCP is a plus)
