AI Engineer

Mission Context

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development to join a long-term strategic project. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable, high-performance Java microservices while also contributing to frontend integrations and fullstack solutions. The project promotes the use of AI and agentic coding practices to enhance development efficiency and engineering workflows.

Missions

• Design and develop high-performance microservices using modern Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Design, deploy and operate scalable cloud infrastructure exclusively on AWS.
• Develop and maintain robust backend architectures focused on scalability, performance and reliability.
• Contribute to frontend development and integrations, bridging complex backend services with user-facing applications.
• Design and implement APIs using REST, GraphQL and/or gRPC.
• Work with PostgreSQL and ORM technologies to develop efficient and maintainable data-access layers.
• Apply Clean Code and SOLID principles throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit and integration testing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to improve development productivity and engineering processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contributing to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

Required Profile

• Strong professional experience with modern Java and microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Solid understanding of frontend development, including HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database access and ORM concepts.
• Experience designing and developing APIs using REST, GraphQL and/or gRPC.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in development or production environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Good knowledge of Git, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles and automated testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and agentic coding approaches.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and consulting-oriented mindset.
• Ability to challenge existing approaches and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
