<p>As part of ongoing infrastructure and support operations, we are looking for a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Solution Architect to support solution design, assessment, and implementation activities across enterprise RHEL environments.</p>
<h2>Required Qualifications:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Manage activities related to solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation</li>
<li>Review business context for client challenges and identify solution requirements</li>
<li>Develop and execute solutions to reduce reactive support activities</li>
<li>Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options</li>
<li>Provide analysis of security considerations for proposed solutions</li>
<li>Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Conduct current-state technical assessments of RHEL environments</li>
<li>Identify EOS exposure, application dependencies, and upgrade blockers</li>
<li>Develop lifecycle extension, consolidation, or decommissioning recommendations</li>
<li>Assess OS-level impact on application stability, performance, and supportability</li>
</ul>
<h2>Required Profile</h2>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of hands-on experience with RHEL across technical domains</li>
<li>Experience in large-scale enterprise environments</li>
<li>Deep hands-on experience administering and architecting RHEL 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 environments</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux lifecycle, EOS implications, and Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS)</li>
<li>Expertise in core RHEL services including systemd, networking, storage, and identity integration</li>
<li>Strong experience with RPM, YUM, and DNF package management</li>
<li>Experience with user, group, and privilege management including sudo and PAM</li>
<li>Experience supporting RHEL workloads in VMware vSphere and KVM environments</li>
<li>Understanding of SAN/NAS storage architectures, LVM, and high-availability design</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of RHEL security hardening and baseline configuration</li>
<li>Familiarity with SELinux, firewall management, legacy protocol exposure, and CVE risk assessment</li>
<li>Ability to assess platform dependencies and constraints impacting lifecycle extension strategies</li>
<li>Understanding of RHEL as a foundational platform for enterprise applications and middleware</li>
<li>Knowledge of Red Hat subscription economics, entitlement models, and vendor support structures</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Broad understanding of information technology topics</li>
<li>Collaborative and flexible approach in fast-paced environments</li>
</ul>
<h2>Education</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience</li>
</ul>
<h2>Language</h2>
<ul>
<li>Fluent English</li>
</ul>
